- To maintain accounting, collection, expense and reporting records.
- To authenticate users and protect authorised accounts.
- To provide support, service notifications and subscription-related communication.
3. WhatsApp and External Services
Some features may open WhatsApp or other external services to send information selected by an authorised user. When an external service is opened, its own privacy policy and terms apply. Mahallu Mithram does not control the privacy practices of third-party services.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards intended to protect application data against unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. Users are responsible for keeping their passwords confidential and should not share login credentials with others.

Mahallu Mithram does not sell personal information. Access to Mahallu records is intended for authorised users and administrators. Information may be processed by infrastructure or service providers only as necessary to operate, secure and maintain the application, or when required by law.

Mahallu records may be retained for as long as the Mahallu account and its administrative or legal record-keeping requirements require. Deletion requests may be subject to account ownership, operational and legal requirements.

- Use the application only for authorised Mahallu administration.
- Protect passwords and immediately report suspected unauthorised access.

Institution and student features may contain information about children. Such information should be entered only by an authorised Mahallu/institution administrator for legitimate administrative purposes and with appropriate consent where required.
